Thanks to all four non-profits, Friends of Trees, Oregon Food Bank, Oregon Historical Society and The Freshwater Trust for being part of our Survey Challenge. Portland Harbor Partnership is working to raise awareness about the Portland Harbor Superfund Site on the Willamette River and to encourage everyone to have a voice in the future of the river by sharing their thoughts in a brief survey.

A $10,000 challenge fund has been established to support the four non-profit organizations. After completing the survey, one can vote on which organization they want to receive financial support. The $10,000 will be divided among the four organizations based on the percentage of votes each organization receives. The challenge will extend through March 15, 2012.

We will be posting the announcement that the challenge has started on our website (www.portlandharborpartnership.com)  and announce on our Facebook and Twitter sites at 2 pm on Monday, Jan. 23, 2012. We have created links to your social media sites. Please feel free to use the attached copy for your own notices to appropriate networks or audiences that you believe would like to participate.

Thanks again for all your help!
