The City of Portland is inviting review and feedback on the final draft of the updated MS4 Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) and Monitoring Plan. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n The plans describe the City\u2019s commitments to preventing and reducing pollution in stormwater runoff and monitoring water quality. They are requirements of the City’s NPDES MS4 permit and help to comply with the federal Clean Water Act.\u00a0 If you\u2019d like to learn more about all things MS4, you can <\/span>find additional information here<\/span><\/a><\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n COMMENT PERIOD: <\/b>Thursday, September 1 \u2013 Friday, September 30, 2022 @ 5:00 p.m.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n HOW TO SUBMIT COMMENTS: <\/b>The draft SWMP and Monitoring Plan <\/span>can be found here<\/span><\/a><\/span>. Please review the documents and submit your feedback through the online comment form on the same page. <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n Comments will be reviewed and considered before submitting the plan to the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) on November 1. DEQ will review and approve the SWMP and Monitoring Plan in accordance with the City\u2019s new MS4 permit.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
