Hello Everyone,
Please join us for our Portland Harbor CAG meeting using the zoom link above. This months meeting we will be discussing and piloting a demonstration from EPA on the Environmental Justice Screening and Mapping Tool (EJScreen). EJScreen is a tool that provides EPA with a nationally consistent dataset and approach for combining environmental and demographic socioeconomic indicators. EJScreen can be used to help EPA and Community members with outreach, and consider geographic areas for additional resources. 

Please note that a very limited, in-person EJScreen training opportunity is available in advance of the main virtual Portland Harbor CAG meeting from 4:30-5:30 pm on Wednesday, November 9 at the CAG’s new office at Green Anchors PDX. We will also present at our regular 6:30 CAG Meeting.  For people who can’t attend the November 9th CAG meeting or who want additional information on EPA’s EJScreen tool, please consider attending a separate pilot training hosted by EPA the next day on Thursday, November 10 at the BES Water Pollution Lab next to Cathedral Park (Located Here) and please submit an RSVP!

Who:  While this training is focused on community members affected and impacted by the Superfund Site, anyone is welcome to attend either in-person (limited space) or virtually!
When:  Thursday, November 10th from 6-7pm (Pacific)
Where:  In-Person (limited space at the City of Portland’s Water Pollution Control Lab, 6543 N Burlington Ave) and Virtual! (Location Here)
